After studying in the most important dutch institutes and working in european studios as interior designer (also in Milan at Sawaya & Moroni and at Studio Oxido), Sacha Winkel founded, with other 4 people, Soap ateliers.
This is a young and dynamic studio where the designs are reduced to the essential and the designers realise projects of graphic design (corporate identities, signing, productlabeling), architectural design (architecture, interior and store design), product development (design and development of furniture and utensils), communication development.
Among the clients Shell and Coca Cola are the most important. For several years she is committed to the restructuring of the De Doelen Theatre in Rotterdam, one of the major theatres (Concert Hall) of the Netherlands.
In 2004 Sacha launched the initiative "Nuits Blanches" that elevates the concept of "networking" suggesting places to encourage new forms of contact between visitors to the European design fairs.
As part of an expansion of professional services offered, she currently follows the Masters in Brand Management at the Erasmus University.For Boffi she produced the washbasins Soap and Soap 2 in 1999.
