Studiocharlie, founded in 2002 by Gabriele Rigamonti, Carla Scorda and Vittorio Turla, specialises in product design, graphics, type design and video. Products designed by Studiocharlie have strong graphic elements. They express design in such a way that goes beyond the field in which the products will be used. One can draw on a sheet of paper using lines and colours and in the same way, one can draw on a sheet of steel using laser rays and folds, or on material using threads and weaving patterns. Their philosophy of creating objects that stay true to the original concept is necessary to ensure the actual object retains the intended emotion. This requires a detailed approached, to produce a coherent and complete result. Studiocharlie sees material, shape, proportion and equilibrium as elements that are interconnected and as a result their products maintain the purity and simplicity of their creative impulse.
Studiocharlie work in the fields of visual communication, creating graphics, designing trademarks and logotypes, co-ordinating images and typefaces for brands including ex. Superbastone or Csuni, and received a special commendation for the 20th edition of the Compasso d'Oro ADI Prize.

In 2008, Studiocharlie has designed the "4millimetri" table for Boffi.
