Lissoni’s design, with Boffi, finds new refined variations and integrations for the organisation of the Antibes wardrobe system. Comfortable removable shoe racks, trays set up with a leather mat or in microfiber and bonded leather, give tactile quality to an elegant aesthetic. This integration is complemented by the practicality of the swivel mirror, the implementation of the garment sanitiser signed by the partner V-ZUG, as well as, at the customer’s request, an armoured drawer with a safe function, which can be opened using one’s fingerprint or the app designed for mobile devices, and structured to include a Faraday shield. In addition to the glass shelves already supplied with the system, inside the standard drawers there are dividers with everything needed to sip a glass of wine or prepare a cocktail. The Antibes Wardrobe represents the pinnacle of modern design and performance that perfectly encapsulates current requirements for space and style. This single-sided wardrobe system, with its sturdy construction and solid wood side panels, offers a wide range of finishes and materials, each selected for its minimalist elegance and consistency in style. The Boffi design team has developed versatile solutions that seamlessly integrate with different ADL door versions, through a sophisticated structure that includes side panels and a recessed track. The option of pivot or bifold doors provides ample flexibility, allowing for single- and double-sided wall configurations with or without sliding doors that perfectly adapt to any space and desired use.

In a space such as the centre of the room, the modern Antibes wardrobe adapts to both single and double use, with an optional decorative strip or glass storage units and regular doors. Additionally, the door with the pivot option can be integrated into the wardrobe itself to combine design and practicality.

The Antibes series expands with new additions to its range, including a sneaker rack, the Handframe door made of fabric or bonded leather, the Shades and Sloane handles, and practical solutions such as the glassware and bottle shelf, ideal for configurations next to the kitchen or living room. The accessories, from trouser hangers to glass and fabric shelves and backlit panels, offer endless possibilities for customising one’s space.

The polyester lacquering is carried out by a process of applying paints on MDF panels, with several coats. The surfaces are sanded with different coarse-grained and fine-grained sandpapers. Then they are polished using brushes impregnated with abrasive wax. The result obtained is a very glossy surface (close to the mirror effect) that reaches 95 gloss. Polyester is a very resistant material, practically waterproof; its surface does not absorb, but is sensitive to scratches. The scratched surface can be re-smoothed and re- polished or even repaired adding material and then by sanding and smoothing it again. Three layers of paint coat each surface, it means 900 g/m2 (ca. 1 mm thick); nine layers of paint coat each edge (ca. 3 mm thick). It is sensitive to light if directly exposed for very long periods. It can slightly change the tone, becoming lighter especially on light tones (family of whites). In case of element additions in a second moment, these tone changes cannot be perfectly replicated and may not match exactly the original shade. This issue cannot be considered cause for a complaint.

Metal-effect lacquer. Metals is a special finishing which reproduces the typical effect of brushed metallic surfaces, rendered through a very precise and technical sequence of production cycles. The characteristic metallic effect of the surface is given by the alternation of manual and mechanical processes, by the quality of the metal particles-enriched solvent-based paints and by the complex drying procedure. The various shades of colour (halos caused by the spread of the paint chromium particles) and the succession of multi-directional brushing of the surface make each piece a unique and exclusive one.
