A new address in the heart of Paris
The Boffi|DePadova interior design concept has a new venue to express itself at 16 Boulevard Raspail in the 7th arrondissement in Paris. Now the company is ready to inaugurate a 900-sqm space, previously home to the Kenzo fashion brand, set inside a stylish apartment laid out over two floors where visitors are invited on a sensory and tactile journey designed by the company’s Creative Direction.
The site is rich in architectural details, with columns and vaults together with a majestic skylight that brings in natural illumination, while the staircase elegantly links the ground floor to the first floor, dressed by the emblematic grey color.
“This welcoming ambiance unfolds in a series of differing forms that create a harmonious equilibrium. Here we find Boffi and its integrated offering of bathroom, wardrobe, and kitchen systems, the architecturally-oriented ADL partition systems, and connective elements that promote fluidity of movement between spaces.
The mood continues with furnishings and lighting from De Padova, like the EVERYDAY LIFE collection designed by Paul Smith and the Raffles project, which was revisited in collaboration with Society Limonta and its classic fabrics in an interpretation that draws inspiration from Vico Magistretti. In addition, there are the quintessential minimalist patterns of Scandinavian design as seen in the R.I.G. system from MA/U Studio and the multifaceted Japanese design manufacturing from Time & Style ēdition.
The sophisticated styling, with key elements, provides a consistent vision while respecting the spaces and creating a clear and identifiable system.”
“We’ve once again proven our presence in the European design market with the opening of the Boffi|DePadova Paris space on Boulevard Raspail,” explains Boffi|DePadova CEO Roberto Gavazzi. “What’s more, this is our chance to underscore and strengthen our corporate strategy that is committed to the coexistence of different realities and languages in a living solution that’s becoming more and more internationally recognizable.”
The opening event, which was held to coincide with the Maison & Objet design fair, showed off the partnership with Michelin-star chef Giancarlo Morelli and his refined yet straightforward approach to cuisine together with the made-in-Italy excellence of Ferrari Trento sparkling wines.
