Boffi|DePadova Miami celebrates 90 years of Boffi

The celebration coincides with the opening of Art Basel and held in collaboration with Technogym. The Boffi|DePadova Miami flagship store, a benchmark for sophisticated living, takes center stage from December 6 to 8, 2024 during one of the most important contemporary art shows in the world: Art Basel. The store’s renovated layout features the latest collections and creations in time to honor the 90^th anniversary of Boffi and allow visitors a window onto the best of design and manufacturing excellence. On December 5, the opening event for Art Basel, the exclusive collaborations of Technogym top-tier lifestyle elements, Miele and its innovative appliances were featured together with esteemed producer Zonin, the beverage partner for the event.

The point of departure for the Boffi|DePadova group is in-depth research into materials and compositions to find beauty and refinement as well as a commitment to manufacturing excellence. The result is architectural solutions that enhance indoor and outdoor spaces through ideas and collaborations that are not standardised but are rather customised, high-quality Made in Italy designs.

With its partner Technogym – a world leader in wellness and fitness – the group presents a customised home experience that will be featured in a temporary space inside the group’s prestigious showroom in the Miami Design District through May 2025. These two realities mix form and function together to offer a blended lifestyle where systems and architectural solutions meet the minimalism of the home gym.

The monolithic expression of materials in the Cove Kitchen, designed by the Boffi Research & Development team together with the Zaha Hadid Design Studio, is the perfect entry point to introduce this refined domestic setting. It is followed by elements articulated by geometric shapes: XO, which is inspired by Massoni’s historic Xila model, features the rational lines of Elisa Ossino. The same designer has designed the Helium light sculpture for the living room, an area which is punctuated by the comfy Alberese XL sofa from Piero Lissoni. This is paired with the creativity of Nendo and his Ishi Stone coffee table that combines the solidity of marble with the transparency of glass to create a gentle and concrete expression of stylistic balance.

Following the lead of Boffi and De Padova, ADL presents its compartmentalisation systems via the iconic Quadra, Mitica and Cinetica collections and its Levante model that presents a vision of outdoor living. Alongside this offering is the now consolidated EVERYDAY LIFE collection from Paul Smith + De Padova and the innovative open-air proposal Afternoons by Omi Tahara.

New creations fit seamlessly with the iconic models from the group in a perfect dialogue between past and present – take the new Pillow ’20 edition that draws inspiration from the sofa designed by Magistretti and gives it a contemporary take in terms of padding, seat depth and fabrics.
